Stefano Ligori

With 20 years of Culinary experience in Multi-Cuisine preparation and kitchen management, Chef Stefano Ligori definitely knows what he is doing.
He was raised by a household of Chefs but was never encouraged to be one. Though he graduated as a Chemical Engineer, Chef Stefano’s passion in cooking was intense and it incited him to pursue a career in Culinary. At an early age of 22, he put up his own restaurant, Bamboo Hut in Roatan Honduras specializing in South American Cuisine. He then explored and worked in various restaurants in Italy such as “Rifugio Fannes”, “La Taverna dei Ghiottoni”, “Double Sense”, “ristorante Bianchini”and “La Brughiera”. He then took the opportunity to work in the field of Hotel and Restaurant Management and joined the Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel, operated by Movenpick Hotels and Resorts as the Chef de Cuisine of the Italian Restaurant, Sicilia.
Chef Stefano’s hands on style of working and addressing situations have earned him the respect of his colleagues. He strives to develop young chefs who want to excel in the culinary field and never considers failure an option to stop.
